November Wanderings

Greetings Adventurer! 🍂

This month I have some fresh fantasy folk music for you:

Forest Elves

I've always thought of November as a quiet, solemn month; past the excitement of October's bright colors, but before the sparkling snow of December. So I tried to capture that feeling in 'Forest Elves'. The music is melancholy, but still has an ethereal and mystical vibe to it, perfect for the dwelling place of elves. ✨

The video art was very enjoyable to paint as well, featuring a misty forest that hides an archway to the elven lands / otherworld. In fairy folklore, archways and rings of stone or wood are said to be in-between gateways which allow one to travel to a parallel world of magic. That idea is part of the inspiration for both the art and the music of 'Forest Elves'!

I hope you can imagine your own stories while listening, and feel free to let me know what you think in the comments! 😊

Stay magical,

June 💜
