An autumn fairy stands in front of a gothic arch through which you can see a moon. She is holding a Chickadee bird.

Happy Halloween season, Adventurers! This being October, it means it's time for some spooky waltz music, and this year I present to you 'Harvest Moon'!

Harvest Moon

I hope you can feel the cool autumn night and smell the scent of rain and decaying leaves fallen on an outdoor ballroom floor when listening. I often choose a candle that fits the vibe of whatever I'm working on at the time and burn it while writing (this song's candle was a scent called Pumpkin Potion if you're curious 😊). It just adds an extra layer of immersion for me and I'd like to think that comes through in the final song. 🍁

This month has only just begun and I've already been busy! Last week, I got to see the band Faun live, which was an incredible experience. I love the variety of instruments they use, and of course the folklore & history behind much of their music.

Another fun event I attended this last weekend was a spooky terrarium making workshop! We got to pick a jar, some trinkets for decorating, moss, and a plant! I chose a Lithops living stone plant - it looks a bit like a brain from above, perfect for Halloween :D

Let me know if you like 'Harvest Moon' on YouTube, and enjoy the rest of your month!! 🎃

Stay magical,

June 💜
