Happy New Year, friend!! I hope you had a wonderful holiday season and stayed healthy and safe 🥳

While I myself am currently fighting a winter cold (surrounded by many teacups and cough drops), I simply could not wait another moment to share this this month's new music with you, so without further ado, here is 'Island of Dragons'!! 🥁🎶

Travel to an island hidden by enchanted mists, home to dragons of all elements, from the fire dragons of the warm beaches, the water serpents in the sparkling sea, the earth dragons of the lush forests, and the air dragons of the island's mountain peaks. The instrumentation for this piece is similar to 'Tales of Adventure' in that it's folk instrument based with a bit of a sea shanty hint to it. ✨🌊

While writing this music, I was also reminded of one of my favorite books growing up, 'Dragon Spear' from the series 'Dragon Slippers' by Jessica Day George. The story also featured a magic island of unique dragons and their adventures. I remember how exciting it was to read for the first time and imagine exploring a place like that, so whether or not you've read the book, I hope that this music will capture the same feeling for you! 📖 🐉 🔥
