Happy Holidays and (almost) Winter Solstice my friend!

I hope you are staying warm and cozy. It's been snowing quite a bit here in Michigan, so it definitely looks festive outside! My studio has a large window, so it tends to get chilly quickly (time to bring out the space heater 🥶), but it was very immersive and inspiring for writing this new song, lol! Here is the video:

With this music, I hope you feel relaxed and peaceful while listening. I wrote it to be atmospheric and slow, with icy sounds that will make you think of winter. Piano is such a versatile instrument in this regard, because it has both high sparkly sounds on the upper register like crystal fractals, and a deep heavy low register that feels like the stasis and immovability of glaciers frozen for aeons. This is a musical idea I come back to over and over again because it's so fascinating to me and fun to write! Let me know if you enjoy it as well ❄️
