August Wanderings

Greetings adventurers! 🧜♀️
For the last of the summer months here, I decided it was time for something ocean themed:
The seahorses and their merfolk friends have invited you to a sparkling underwater party, the seahorse soirée! 🐚
A lot of the twinkly percussion accents and bubbles you hear, as well as one of the mallet instruments in the chorus, are made from recordings I took of porcelain teacups & saucers (pouring tea from them, tapping them with teaspoons, sliding them, etc). The shaker in the bridge of the song is even made from tea leaves 🍃🫖
I hope this will give the music an authentic bit of tea party ambiance so you can really dive (ha) into the experience :)
Now for this month's crafting update:
As you know, I love all manner of crafting, whether it's music, painting, or jewelry, and this past year I had fun making quite a lot of glass bead necklaces. There's a mini renaissance faire near where I live, and in January I set myself the goal of being a vendor this summer. I was there for two days, and in that time had so much fun! Everyone was extremely nice, both attendees and fellow crafters, and I enjoyed getting to meet so many creative people. One of my favorite memories is of the person who asked for help in picking out the perfect necklace for their D&D character and explained their backstory to me. 🐉
While at the faire, I also gave out cards with my links them, so if any of you reading this now came from there, welcome to the guild, we're glad to have you!! 🧙♀️
That's all the news I have for you this month, so I hope you love the music and we'll talk again soon ✨
Stay magical,
June 💜
