September Wanderings

Happy almost autumn friend!! 🍂

While the leaves have only begun to appear tipped with color here, the air has a chill, and a week of rainy weather has brought with it a gloomy but cozy mood. (Time for painting indoors by the light of a million pumpkin spice candles!) 🕯

The music I have to share with you this month is also autumnal in nature:

Do you remember the piece I posted last year called 'School of Magic'? Well, 'Autumn Magic' is a continuation on that theme! Imagine the old castle halls of the school now decorated in swaths of colorful leaves, floating pumpkins glowing with warm light, and the scent of cinnamon hovering tantalizingly in the air. 🎃

I've even hidden a little piece of the original 'School of Magic' theme within.. Tell me in the video comments if you can find it - I'll give you a hint, it's played first by the flute. 👀

Onto my monthly crafting update! 🧵 Of course I had to create some fall related things (including the video art). I sewed a spiderweb table mat/cover, as well as a new mushroom garland with a little bit of a steampunk vibe ✨

Finally, I wanted to give you an update on the game I've created sound effects for, Wizard Cats! It now has an official Kickstarter page, so if you're interested in the supporting its development, check it out! I wrote an update for it which you can read here about the process of creating the audio identity of Purrth-Quake, the earth elemental class 🪨
